Barbara's Story
After MHS I got a BA from Ohio State U. in Speech and Hearing Pathology, followed by an MA in Communications and Public Address from the U of Arkansas. I was married briefly while in graduate school and after completion moved to the D.C. area. I worked for a telephone company in several staff positions, the last which I enjoyed the most, as a technical writer. I remarried and inherited two great stepsons and had a daughter who is now the mother of 2 young boys. Due to illness we all moved from D.C. to Jacksonville, Florida, where I've resided between 1984 and 2013. After a 15 year stint with husband #2 and a heart-wrenching divorce, I married again. d to try again. I stayed involved in community theatricals as a dancer/choreographer, actor/singer, set design/crew, etc. and attend as much theater as I can. I lead a busy life, love and stay close to my family and small circle of friends. My door is always open and I'll be glad to see any of my old cronies. Just let me know when!
UPDATE! Have finally been able to move back north and now reside in Breinigsville, PA.as of May, 2013. While I miss my friends and family in Fl., I'm glad to be away from the heat and humidity of the south and back to the hustle and bustle that better suits my nature. Once again, I extend an invitation to any of my old friends to stop by for a visit if you're in the area. I'd love to see you.
